聖雲先會

上主日聖堂門口募捐為港幣4,032.90元。上月總支出港幣1,171.60元，包括支付大澳一名長者之平安鐘月費；購買探訪九位坪洲、東涌長者家庭及兩個梅窩安老院的禮物。餘數由聖雲先中央分會用來資助其他有需要的家庭。聖雲先會在此感謝各位的慷慨捐助。


Parish Council Meeting

The Pastoral Council Meeting will take place next Sunday, April 18, at 1:45pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, Peng Chau. All are welcome to attend.


The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Church door collections last weekend amounted to HK$4,032.90. During March 2010, HK$1,171.60 was spent for a safety bell subscription for an elderly person in Tai O and for food and presents for nine elderly families in Peng Chau and Tung Chung and also for two homes for the elderly in Mui Wo. The surplus will be used by the Central Council to help other needy families in the Diocese. The Society thanks all parishioners for their generosity.


Confirmation Classes 2010

Confirmation classes for children aged 11 (Year 6) upwards will be starting after Easter. Classes will run for seven weeks, starting Saturday, 17th April, 9-10am, 1D Glamour Court. The children will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Trinity Sunday, 30th May. Parents wishing to enroll their children must fill out a registration form available after Mass. A photocopy of the child’s baptismal certificate will be required and also a photocopy of the sponsor’s baptismal certificate. (The sponsor can be the child’s parent.) Registration forms must be filled in straightway as we need to know asap the number that will attend. Baptismal certificates can be handed in at the first lesson.
