第二次捐獻 －為教育日

按照教區慣例，本年9月26日定為「教育日」，主題為「我認識我的羊，我的羊也認識我」。為以上目的進行第二次募捐，請慷慨支持。


2010香港明愛賣物會

本堂區將參與在長洲北帝廟廣場舉行的明愛賣物會，日期是11月21日星期日上午10:00至下午5:00。現誠邀教友鼎力支持，親自到場做善事兼暢遊長洲。現堂區呼籲教友捐贈禮品，如新的電器及家庭用品，作為攤位抽獎遊戲的獎品。請各彌撒中心先行收集捐贈禮品。另外，當日亦需大量義工，我們會為義工提供免費午餐與一程交通。有意當義工者，請聯絡曾太Teresa Tsang：9098-3343 / 2987-6503。

明愛慈善抽獎券將於所有主日彌撒後有售，每張$20，請教友踴躍支持，共襄善舉。


第廿六屆普世青年節香港教區團

第廿六屆普世青年節將於2011年8月於西班牙馬德里舉行。教區青年牧民委員會現正接受18至35歲的青年報名﹐截止報名日期9月30日。詳情請向麥神父查詢。


堂區朝聖之旅

已報名參加2010年10月1日(星期五) 朝聖之旅的教友，請帶備車票，於當日上午9:00到達東涌巴士總站 (愉景灣巴士站附近) 集合，逾時不候。

本小堂還有少量門票出售，教友可於彌撒後盡快購票，以便安排，票價為每位港幣100元正。


堂區牧民議會週年大會

主顯堂堂區牧民議會是由堂區內的所有小堂代表組成。每3個月就會聚在一起分享及互相支持每個小堂的牧民工作。以建立本堂為一個充滿信、望、愛三德的團體。我們本年的週年大會將於10月10日 (星期日)下午1時45分，在梅窩主顯小堂舉行，歡迎所有教友參與。

現議會內有三位幹事任期界滿，因此在本次的牧民議會中，必須選出新的主席、副主席及秘書各職。 如果您願意擔當以上的職位為堂區服務或欲了解更多有關職位的工作需要，請與麥神父或 Teresa Tsang 90983343 聯絡。

牧民議會是代表你的團體，極需要你們的支持。


坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮

坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮將於10月3日(星期日)舉行，當日將會於下午2時進行聖母像出遊地點由坪洲室內體育館出發，下午3時的感恩聖祭將由陳志明副主教主持；並於彌撒後有多項表演節目款待各位來賓，晚上6:30會在好運酒樓舉行晚餐聚會，希望各位能踴躍參加。

當日聚餐餐券每位$50，教友可於彌撒後購票。


Second Collection: Education Day

In accordance with the practice of our diocese, 26th September is observed as Education Day. Our theme this year is “I know my own sheep and my own know me”. For this purpose, there will be a second collection. Your generosity will be highly appreciated.


2010 Caritas Fund Raising Bazaar

Our Parish will take part in the bazaar on Sunday, 21st November, 2010 at Pak Tai Temple Playground in Cheung Chau, from 10am – 5pm. We are appealing to all to donate brand new quality gifts for the Lucky Draw game. Electrical appliances are the most popular. The presents please give the items to the chairman of each mass centre. If you can be a stall volunteer, please contact Teresa at 9098 3343 or 2987 6503. You can also show your support for charity by attending the bazaar.

Caritas raffle tickets continue to be on sale for $20 each after all the masses. Please support this cause.


Parish Pilgrimage

All those who bought tickets for the Parish Pilgrimage please be at Tung Chung Bus Terminus (next to Discovery Bay bus stop) on October 1 at 9am. Bring your ticket. Please be punctual.

As the Pilgrimage is approaching still has some tickets to be sold at HKD100 each. Those who are interested to join, please contact the person- in- charge after the mass.


The Epiphany Parish Pastoral Council Annual General Meeting

The Epiphany Parish Pastoral Council comprises representatives from all mass centres in the Epiphany Parish. We meet once every 3 months to share and support each other's work and to build up the parish as a community of faith, hope and love. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election of council members will take place on 10th October 2010 at 1.45 pm in Epiphany Chapel, Mui Wo. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Three council officers' tenure will expire, there will therefore be an election for a new chairperson, a new vice-chairperson and a new secretary at the AGM. If you are willing to serve in any capacity or would like to find out more, please contact Fr. Metz or Teresa Tsang 9098 3343.

The Council is your representative body and needs your support.


Peng Chau Feast Day

The Peng Chau Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel Feast Day will be held on 3 October (Sunday). There will be Procession at 2 pm and Holy Mass at 3pm to be celebrated by Rev. Dominic Chan, VG, at the Peng Chau Stadium. Performances will follow after the mass. Dinner will be at 6:30pm. It will be sold after mass at HK$50 each.
