世青分享會
普世青年節已於本年8月份於西班牙結束，為使未能參與此旅程的青年，能分享當中的喜悅；新界西南總鐸區青年小組，將於10月1日（下星期六）下午2時，於聖若望宗徒堂舉行世青分享會，主題為「在基督內生根修建，堅定於你們所學得的信德」。現誠邀堂區內的青年參加，一同分享參加者的經歷。如有任何查詢可與堂區聯絡人王文瑛聯絡60444711。
坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮
坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮將於10月2日(星期日)舉行，當日於下午2時進行聖母像出遊，由坪洲室內體育館出發，下午3時舉行主保感恩聖祭；並於彌撒後有多項表演節目款待各位來賓，晚上6時30分在好運酒樓舉行晚餐聚會，希望各位踴躍參加。餐券每位$55，請於彌撒後向各彌撒中心負責人購買。
聖三小堂委員會週年大會

10月2日主日彌撒後在禮堂門外籌集善款，請慷慨解囊。每月例會將在10月9日星期日上午10:15在國際學校課室舉行。
生活的玫瑰經
１０月１日（公眾假期）下午１時，在愉景灣國際學校禮堂將舉行彌撒恭敬聖母，彌撒由夏神父主持，隨後誦念玫瑰經和詠唱聖詩奉獻給聖母。教宗若望保祿二世曾說：「瑪利亞注視着基督而生活，對他的每句話都視同拱璧：『把這一切事默存在自己心中，反複思索』（路2:19；見路2:51）。這些對耶穌的記憶銘刻她的心靈上，不論在什麼情況下都繞縈她的心中，令她想起自己在聖子身邊生活的每一刻。在某意義下，正是這些記憶構成她有生之年不斷誦念的『玫瑰經』。」
十月是聖母玫瑰月
每位天主教徒都應鼓勵自己每天誦唸玫瑰經，讓它成為神修的一部分。玫瑰經是以基督為中心的祈禱，它充分地包含整個福音的精髓。希望每位天主教徒都能隨身攜帶玫瑰唸珠—劃十字聖號和玫瑰經是天主教徒的獨一身分象徵。去年１０月，愉景灣聖母軍向教友派發唸珠和如何誦唸玫瑰經的單張，如你尚未收到唸珠或單張，請向聖母軍會員索取；他們將於９月份最後和１０月份第一個週末彌撒後派發唸珠和單張。數量有限，先到先得。
Second Collection: Education Day
In accordance with the practice of our diocese, 25th September is observed as Education Day. Our theme this year is ‘the Shepherd’s Commitment and Companionship’. For this purpose, there will be a second collection today. Your generosity is highly appreciated.
Caritas Raffle Tickets
Hong Kong Caritas fundraising raffle tickets are now on sale for $20 each after mass. Please support this cause.
Peng Chau Feast Day
The Peng Chau Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel Feast Day will be held on Sunday, 2nd October 2011. There will be a procession at 2pm and Holy Mass at 3pm in the Peng Chau Stadium. Performances will follow after the Mass. Dinner will be at 6:30pm in the Lucky Restaurant. Tickets will be sold after Mass at HK$55 each. Please contact Amy Vinas 91639835.
Trinity Chapel Catholic Community Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 9th October, at 11.30am in Room G5. This will be an election meeting for the new committee. St Vincent de Paul Society
The St Vincent de Paul will have their church door collection next weekend, 1st and 2nd October. Their monthly meeting will be held on Sunday 9th October at DBIS.
The Living Rosary
In honor of Mary, Our Blessed Mother, a mass will be celebrated by Fr. Henry Cabral SVD on Saturday, 1st October (public holiday) in the DBIS Hall at 1:00pm. This will be followed by the prayer of the Rosary and songs which we will present to Our Blessed Mother. We look forward to seeing all of you on that day.
Blessed John Paul II said “Mary lived with her eyes fixed on Christ, treasuring his every word: ‘She kept all these things pondering them in her heart’ (Luke 2:19; cf. 2:51). The memories of Jesus, impressed upon her heart, were always with her, leading her to reflect at her Son’s side. In a way, those memories were to be the “rosary” which she recited uninterruptedly throughout her earthly life.”
October is the Month of The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Rosary
All Catholics are encouraged to pray the Rosary daily and make it part of their spiritual lives. The Rosary is a Christocentric prayer. It has all the depth of the Gospel message in its entirety. It is hoped that every Catholic will always have the rosary prayer beads on their person – making the sign of the cross and the rosary are unique symbols of your Catholic identity. Last October The Legion of Mary in DB handed out rosary beads and guides on how to pray the Rosary to parishioners. If anyone still does not have the rosary prayer beads or the guide, please do ask one of the members of the Legion who will be on hand after mass during the last weekend of September and first weekend of October. Supply is limited and is on a first come basis.
