今天各台公開彌撒中進行第二次募捐，所得款項將撥作資助宗座傳信事業之用，全部善款將直接寄交宗座，以示本港教會對普世教會傳教事業之支持，請大家慷慨支持。

長洲明愛慈善賣物會
今年長洲明愛慈善賣物會將於11月20日星期日上午10:00至下午5:00在北帝廟廣場舉行。與往年一樣，我們堂區會主持賣物會其中的一個遊戲攤位為明愛機構籌款。我們誠邀你們幫忙做義工運作攤位或捐出新的家庭用品及禮品。11月6日為最後收集禮品日期。義工們將於當日從愉景灣乘搭上午8:45的街渡前往梅窩，再從梅窩乘搭上午10:10的橫水渡前往長洲。欲知詳情請與曾太Teresa聯絡，電話9098-3343/2987-6503，電郵：tretsang@gmail.com。

梅窩主顯小堂將於11月12日星期六舉行郊遊。詳情如下：

聖雲先會
今天主日彌撒後在禮堂門外募捐，請大家慷慨解囊。每月例會將於11月13日星期日上午10:15在國際學校課室舉行。
徹夜明供聖體
聖母無玷聖心會推行的徹夜明供聖體善工，將在11月4 日星期五晚上9：00至第二天早上6：00舉行。明供聖體期間，為了安全起見，由午夜12:00開始，進入小聖堂將按照各人預約的時間安排，已在小聖堂內的人士則可以自由離開。欲知詳情請聯絡Albert Chan 電話：9181-7206 或 Betty Leung電話：9721-9368。
安貧小姊妹會籌款
安貧小姊妹修會的修女們將於11月5日-6日主日彌撒後向教友募捐，以支持她們主理的上水聖若瑟安老院。請教友們如往年般慷慨解曩，支持善舉。
十月是聖母玫瑰月
為敬禮聖母，在十月聖母玫瑰月每個主日，在9:00彌撒開始前早上8:30公念玫瑰經，地點在學校正門內之有蓋休憇地。
將臨期避靜
「聖母無玷聖心會」將於12月16-17日﹙星期五、六﹚籌辦為期兩日一夜之避静，時間：16日下午3:00至17日下午5:00，地點：上水金錢村92地段『聖保祿樂靜院』，神師：張興浩神父(Fr. John Zhang)，費用：每位330元﹙三餐一宿﹚，單日170元﹙早午兩餐﹚，包括神師膳宿費及車馬費，歡迎堂區所有教友參加。如有興趣，請於11月21日前聯络Fiona Lam(9305-7905 / 2869-8076)報名及交費。名額有限，報名從速。參加者請於12月16日下午1:30於青衣港鐵站外巴士總站集合，乘279X巴士至上水火車站轉76K巴士或50A專綫小巴直達。
聖女小德蘭的父母馬丁伉儷遺髑
我們小堂非常榮幸能夠在11月6日迎接真福聖女小德蘭的父母馬丁伉儷遺髑的到訪，給我們提供基督家庭生活的模範。通過向他們遺髑的敬禮，鼓勵我們渡過真正基督徒的生活。他們的遺髑放置在康頤閣1D小堂，在下列時間及各彌撒中接受致敬。儀式禱文需時大約1小時，歡迎各位教友參與。

Cheung Chau Caritas Bazaar
The Cheung Chau Caritas Bazaar will be held on Sunday, 20th November 2011, at Pak Tai Temple Playground from 10am to 5pm. As in previous years, our parish will operate a game booth at the Bazaar to raise funds for Caritas. We invite volunteers to assist at the booth and appeal for donations of NEW household items and presents. Deadline for collection of donations is 6th November. Outing for Devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary by Praying Rosary
Mui Wo Epiphany Chapel is going to have an outing Saturday, 12th November, from 10:30am to 1:30pm (approximate). The gathering place will be Tung Chung Pak Kung Au Country Park, and there will be lunch at Mr. Joseph Law’s house in Chang Sha. Second Collection for Pontifical Work for the Propagation of the Faith
There will be second collections at all Masses this weekend for the Pontifical Work for the Propagation of the Faith. The total amount collected will be sent directly to the Holy See as a contribution of our Local Church to the missionary activities of the Universal Church. Your generosity will be highly appreciated.
Second Collection: Fund Raising for Deanery Activity
The second collections in DB last weekend amounted to $6,330.50 in support of all Mission Sunday activities arranged by the South-West New Territories Deanery. Thank you all for your generosity.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will have churchdoor collections on 29th and 30th October 2011. Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 13th November, in DBIS classroom.
October is the Month of The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Rosary
All Catholics are encouraged to pray the Rosary daily and make it part of their spiritual lives. The Rosary is a Christocentric prayer. It has all the depth of the Gospel message in its entirety. It is hoped that every Catholic will always have the rosary prayer beads on their person – making the sign of the cross and the rosary are unique symbols of your Catholic identity. To honour Our Mother Mary, during the month of October the Rosary will be said in Chinese before the 9:00am Mass, at 8:30am at the covered playground at the main entrance of the school.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Society of the Sacred Heart of Mary is continuing the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament overnight on the first Friday of every month, with the next Adoration to be on 4th November. The Adoration is from 9pm until 6am the next morning in Trinity Chapel, 1D Glamour Court. For safety’s sake, entering the Chapel after midnight will have to be arranged by appointment. All are welcome to participate, pray and express gratitude to the Lord in this special and solemn way for His Salvation and Grace.
Appeal for Donaltions
The Little Sisters of the Poor will appeal for donations on Saturday and Sunday, the 5th and 6th November 2011, to support the Home for the Aged in Sheung Shui. Please kindly show our support as in previous years.
Veneration of the relics of Blessed Zelie and Louis Martin
Our parish is honoured to receive the relics of Blessed Zelie and Louis Martin, the parents of St. Therese of Lisieux, on 6th November 2011. Blessed Zelie and Louis set a good example of Christian family life, and through veneration of their relics, we are encouraged to lead a true Christian life. Their relics will be venerated at specified times below. A veneration session normally takes about or less than an hour. All are very welcome to join.

Youth Choir Meeting
The Youth Choir will be meeting again for a practice on Sunday, 13th November, after the 10:15am mass with a lunch to discuss and plan for the next youth mass on 20th November.
