教區通告

為預備明年教友年，教區委託香港理工大學應用社會科學政策研究中心協助，在8月27日至9月15日期間進行一項「教友生活現況電話調查2010」。受訪教友是從堂區戶籍登記資料，以電腦隨機抽樣方式選取，任何教友幸運地被抽中，訪問員將詢問有關彌撒、祈禱、讀經和信仰團體等問題。為建設教會團體，善渡教友年，請盡量提供資料，而所收集的資料，會絕對保密。　如果教友不願意接受訪問，可自由婉拒。多謝各位支持。


第廿六屆普世青年節香港教區團

第廿六屆普世青年節將於2011年8月於西班牙馬德里舉行。教區青年牧民委員會現正接受18至35歲的青年報名﹐截止報名日期9月30日。詳情請向麥神父查詢。


堂區朝聖之旅

主顯堂堂區將於10月1日 (星期五，公眾假期)舉行朝聖活動，參觀基督之母堂及聖歐爾發堂。 當日上午9時正在東涌巴士總站集合，大約下午5:00回程。 　票價為每位港幣100元正，包括旅遊車及午餐費用。購票可於彌撒後，但名額有限售完即止，購票請與Ida聯絡。


坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮

坪洲和平之后小堂主保瞻禮將於10月3日(星期日)舉行，當日將會於下午2時進行聖母像出遊地點由坪洲室內體育館出發，下午3時的感恩聖祭將由陳志明副主教主持；並於彌撒後有多項表演節目款待各位來賓，希望各位能踴躍參加。


主日學招生

本小堂將於9月11日(下星期六)起，逢星期六下午4時30分至5時30分舉辦主日學，主要分初領聖体班和主日學；地點在東涌天主教學校小學部4樓403及404課室。

1.　初領聖体班：若年齡在8歲以上並已領洗的小朋友參加。
2.　主日學：歡迎任何年滿5歲未領洗或已領洗的小朋友參加。
3.　現歡迎有意參加與福傳願將基督的精神與小朋友分享及曾報讀教理班的教友教授主日學，如有查詢請聯絡神父。


堅振班招生

本小堂將於9月12日(下個星期日)起，逢星期日上午9時15分至10時15分舉辦青少年堅振班，地點在東涌天主教學校小學部4樓406課室。歡迎曾接受聖洗聖事，並已接受初領聖體之青少年參加。


堂家組活動

由堂家組舉辦的「婦女聚會」，將於9月12日（下個主日）中文彌撒後於404室舉行。內容包括：神修活動，盡訴心中情，歡迎各位女士參加。


Peng Chau Feast Day

The Peng Chau Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel Feast Day will be held on 3 October (Sunday). There will be Procession at 2 pm and Holy Mass at 3pm to be celebrated by Rev. Dominic Chan, VG, at the Peng Chau Stadium. Performances will follow after the mass.


Parish Pilgrimage

We are going to have Our Parish Pilgrimage on 1 October (Friday public holiday). We will visit Mother Of Christ Church and St. Alfred’s Church. We will gather at Tung Chung Bus Terminal at 9am and return around 5 pm. The price of ticket is HK$100 per head including lunch and transportation. For those who wish to participate this pilgrimage, please purchase your ticket after the mass. It will be first-come-first-served basis.　Please approach Edna Chow.　


(Sunday) Catechism Classes

Please note that Catechism classes for First Holy Communion from the age of 7 and up and Confirmation (those who had received - 1st Holy Communion) will resume on Sept. 12, 2010 at 10:15am to be held at Classrooms - Rooms 403, 404, 405 & 406.
