2012香港書展街頭福傳工作徵求義工 – 香港天主教教友總會「教總」每年在香港書展期間均於天主教展區內設有一個福傳攤位，目的為傳揚福音的喜訊，並向在場參觀人士介紹天主教信仰。現教總呼籲教友積極參與此項工作，實踐福傳的使命。工作分為兩類：(一)攤位義工，(二)街頭福傳工作。為使工作能順利進行，凡參與此項工作者必須出席下列其中一次誓師大會，以了解是次工作的詳細資料及其他細則：

        A.  2012年7月12日(星期四)晚上7:30-9:30於香港西灣河耀興

              道72號聖十字架中心五樓舉行

       

       B.  2012年7月15日(星期日)下午2:30-4:30於香港銅鑼灣聖保

             祿學校(小學部)禮堂舉行

    聖三小堂主保瞻禮：2012年6月3日 ─ 我們有幸邀得陳日君樞機蒞臨主禮感恩祭及堅振聖事。雙語彌撒將於上午10:15在國際學校禮堂舉行。隨後的自助午餐和娛慶將於下午12:15在海澄湖畔會所舉行，請與會者帶同餐券入座。需用高爾夫球車接往會場者，彌撒後請於禮堂門外等候該項服務人員領往乘車。

   

    領受堅振及朷領聖體聖事 ─ 謹此熱烈祝賀於6月3日「天主聖三節」之20名領受堅振聖事者，並願聖神引領及堅強他們的信仰和日常生活，使能活作主的見證。我們亦祝賀將於6月10日「聖體聖血節」上午10:15彌撒中之25名朷領聖體聖事的小朋友。歡迎大家參慶，惟屆時人數必多，為避免擁擠，亦可選擇參與早上8:00之彌撒。

   聖雲先會 ─  今天主日彌撒後在禮堂門外籌集善款，請慷慨解囊。每月例會將在6月10日星期日上午11:30在國際學校1-20號課室舉行。

    青少年歌詠團 － 青少年歌詠團將於6月10日上午10:15彌撒後練習，隨後並有「比薩」午餐分享。

    委任送聖體員儀式 ─  在6月10日「聖體聖血節」的彌撒中，神父將委任或重新委任一批送聖體員，以服務本堂區，有關成員請屆時出席。

Trinity Chapel Feast Day 

We are very grateful to have His Eminence Cardinal Joseph Zen join us for our Trinity Chapel Feast Day celebration this Sunday, June 3, and celebrate the bilingual 10:15am Mass. All are reminded to bring their tickets to the buffet lunch which begins at 12:15. Invited guests, senior citizens and those who need transportation to the lunch are requested to assemble after Mass at the golf cart banner outside. Someone will lead you to the golf carts and transport you to Siena Club.

Confirmation and First Holy Communion

Congratulations to our twenty Confirmands, who receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this Sunday, 3rd June! May the Holy Spirit always guide and strengthen you as Christ’s witnesses in your daily life. Next Sunday, 10th June, on the Feast of Corpus Christi, 25 children will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion during the 10:15am Mass. All are very welcome to attend, although the Hall may be more crowded than usual due to family and friends of the First Holy Communicants, and some parishioners may prefer to attend an earlier Mass.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will have churchdoor collections on 2nd and 3rd June. Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 10th June at 11:30am in DBIS classroom 1-20.

Youth Choir Practice 

There will be youth choir practice and pizza lunch on Sunday, 10th June, following the 10:15am Mass.

Adoration of the Holy Eucharist

There will be adoration of the Holy Eucharist on Sunday, 10th June, from 4:00 to 5:30pm, in Trinity Chapel,

1D Glamour Court

. The adoration will include prayers and beautiful music. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed in English first, followed by Adoration. Father Henry welcomes all of you. Please do come and spend some time in the presence of Our Lord.

Second Collection: World Communications Day 

Last weekend’s second collection for the promotion of the media apostolate in our diocese amounted to HK$4,565.30. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament  The Society of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is continuing the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament overnight on the first Friday of every month, i.e., 1st June, 2012. The Adoration is from 9pm until 6am the next morning in Trinity Chapel,

This year Trinity Chapel Feast Day will be on Sunday, June 3. His Eminence Cardinal Joseph Zen will celebrate a bilingual Mass and Confirmation at DBIS at 10:15am, which will be followed by buffet lunch and entertainment at the Siena Club from 12:15-3pm. Tickets are $220 for Adults, $160 for Seniors and Children (aged 65 up and 5-11), and $100 for Domestic Helpers. Tickets will be sold through the Mass Coordinators, up to the full capacity of 240 persons. On June 3, there will be Mass at 8am in English as usual but no 9am Mass in Chinese.

Appeal for Prizes 

We are appealing to all to donate or sponsor brand new quality gifts for the raffle draw at our Feast Day Luncheon on June 3.  Please kindly contact Georgina Creally 9838-1470 or Albert Chan 9181-7206.

May is the Month of The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Rosary

All Catholics are encouraged to pray the Rosary daily and make it part of their spiritual lives. The Rosary is a Christocentric prayer. It has all the depth of the Gospel message in its entirety. It is hoped that every Catholic will always have the rosary prayer beads on their person – making the sign of the cross and the rosary are unique symbols of our Catholic identity. To honour Our Mother Mary, during the month of May Rosary will be said before the 9:00am Mass at 8:30am in Chinese at the covered playground at the main entrance of the school. The Rosary also is said in English at 7:20am in DBIS Hall before the 8am Mass on Sundays throughout the year.

第二次奉獻：第四十六屆傳播節 ─ 教區定於今天(耶穌升天節)各台公開彌撒舉行第二次募捐，所得款項將用作推廣本教區的社會傳播事業。請大家慷慨支持。

東涌聖母訪親小堂主保瞻禮 ─  東涌聖母訪親小堂主保瞻禮將於今天在東涌天主教學校小學部四樓禮堂舉行。當日早上10:00舉行感恩聖祭，由林銘副主教主禮，並於中午12:00正於中學部禮堂聚餐。歡迎大家齊來與我們一同慶祝。

喜宴 ─ 下一個「喜宴」的讚頌、朝拜上主教導活動將於6月3日星期日下午2:45至5:00在東涌天主教學校四樓禮堂舉行。

  香港公教婦女會2012年抽獎券 ─ 一年一度的香港公教婦女會2012年抽獎券最後今天發售，請慷慨解囊，支持善舉。

  聖雲先會 － 本月聖堂門外募捐總額為港幣6,757元及收到特別捐款6,000元。上月總支出為港幣1,005.60元，包括支付一位大澳長者之平安鐘月費及購買探訪兩個梅窩安老院長者及十一位坪洲長者家庭的禮物。善會謹此向各善長仁翁致謝。

Second Collection: World Communications Day  In accordance with the usual practice, a second collection for the promotion of the media apostolate in our diocese is to be taken up at all public Masses this weekend. Your generosity will be highly appreciated.

Tung Chung Visitation Chapel Feast Day  Tung Chung Visitation Chapel Feast Day will be held this Sunday, 20 May. There will be a Holy Mass at 10am celebrated by Rev. Pierre Lam Minh, MEP, VG, at the 4/F Tung Chung Catholic School (Primary School). All are welcome to come and join in our Mass celebration.

The Feast  The next Feast will be held on Sunday, 3rd June, from 2:45pm to 5 pm, at 4/F Hall, Tung Chung Catholic School.

2012 Catholic Women’s League Raffle Tickets  This will be the last week for sale of Hong Kong Catholic Women's League 2012 raffle tickets, which are on sale at $10 per ticket after mass. Proceeds will be used for charity purposes. Please support this annual event generously.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul  Church door collections on 5th and 6th May amounted to HK$6,757, plus anonymous donations of HK$6,000. A total of $1,005.60 was spent helping with the safety bell monthly subscription for an elderly person in Tai O, and buying gifts for visits to two homes for the aged in Mui Wo and for home visits to eleven elderly persons in Peng Chau. Thank you very much for your generosity.

Appeal to Golf Cart Owners for Assistance on Feast Day  We are appealing to golf cart owners to help us transport our honourable guests, senior citizens and those with special needs to Siena Club for the buffet lunch after the Celebration Mass on our Feast Day, June 3. Please kindly register your name and golf cart number with the Mass Coordinators after mass. On June 3, you will be given a tag to be affixed on the right-hand side of the windscreen for identification purposes. Please use the Wellcome supermarket golf cart parking if you do not have a permit for parking at the Club. Thank you very much for your assistance.
