2010年度離島區明愛慈善賣物會

11月21日星期日上午10:00至下午5:00在長洲北帝廟廣場舉行的明愛賣物會，本堂區已安排當天接載義工到長洲的船隻於上午8:00從棯樹灣街渡碼頭開出。來自東涌及愉景灣的義工請務需於當天早上8:00前到達街渡碼頭。梅窩的義工請準於早上8:30在梅窩街渡碼頭集合登船。敬請所有義工留意以上乘坐包租渡輪前往長洲的集合時間及地點。


聖雲先會

上主日聖堂門口募捐為港幣2,621元。上月總支出共港幣9,835.40元，包括：分別支付兩個愉景灣家庭成員的醫藥費及教育費(由匿名人士特別捐助)、支付一名大澳長者之平安鐘月費、購買探訪兩個梅窩安老院及七位坪洲長者家庭的禮物。聖雲先會在此感謝各位的慷慨捐助。每月例會將在今天上午11:30在1D康頤閣小堂舉行。


沙灘排球賽

上主日下午在大白灣舉行基督教會間的沙灘排球賽已圓滿結束，多謝各參與者及有關安排人士。


2010 Caritas Fund Raising Bazaar

Our Parish will take part in the Charitas fund raising bazaar on Sunday, 21st November 2010, at Pak Tai Temple Playground in Cheung Chau, from 10am – 5pm. A boat will depart from Nim Shue Wan at 8am on Sunday, 21st November 2010 to go to Cheung Chau. All volunteers from Discovery Bay and Tung Chung must arrive at Nim Shue Wan before 8am. Volunteers from Mui Wo must be at the Mui Wo ferry pier by 8:30am.


Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Church door collections last weekend amounted to $2,621.00. A total of $9,835.40 was spent helping with the medical and educational expenses for two families in DB (met by specific anonymous donations), paying for a safety bell subscription for a family in Tai O, and buying gifts for visits to two homes for the elderly in Mui Wo and for home visits to seven elderly people in Peng Chau. Thank you all very much for your generosity. Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 14th November, at 11:30am in the Trinity Chapel, 1D Glamour Court.


Volleyball at the Beach

The inter-denominational church volleyball tournament at the beach last Sunday was a great success. We would like to thank all the participants and organizers.
