羅馬彌撒經書講解會
為幫助信友更了解羅馬彌撒經書的新英文譯本，教區邀請了著名禮儀學者安鵬浩神父於11月18日(星期五)下午2:30至4:30，在堅道明愛禮堂，及晚上7:00至9:00，在教區中心舉行講解會，內容相同。又在11月19日下午2:30至4:30，於堅道明愛禮堂，介紹「梵二彌撒禮儀靈修」，歡迎教友參加。
長洲明愛慈善賣物會
今年長洲明愛慈善賣物會將於11月20日星期日上午10:00至下午5:00在北帝廟廣場舉行。與往年一樣，我們堂區會主持賣物會其中的一個遊戲攤位為明愛機構籌款。義工們請於當日從愉景灣乘搭上午8:45的街渡前往梅窩，再從梅窩乘搭上午10:10的橫水渡前往長洲。欲知詳情請與曾太Teresa聯絡，電話9098-3343 / 2987-6503，電郵：tretsang@gmail.com。

聖女小德蘭的父母馬丁伉儷聖髑敬禮
我們非常榮幸能夠迎接真福聖女小德蘭的父母馬丁伉儷聖髑的到訪，給我們提供基督家庭生活的模範。通過向他們聖髑的敬禮，鼓勵我們渡過真正基督徒的生活。他們的聖髑將在今天各彌撒中接受致敬。
青少年歌詠團排練

愉景灣頌主祈禱會
將於11月20日星期日下午2:00至4:00在愉景灣管理中心多用途活動室(百徍後門)舉行，歡迎大家參加。
將臨期避靜
「聖母無玷聖心會」將於12月16-17日﹙星期五、六﹚籌辦為期兩日一夜之避静，時間：16日下午3:00至17日下午5:00，地點：上水金錢村92地段『聖保祿樂靜院』，神師：張興浩神父(Fr. John Zhang)，費用：每位330元﹙三餐一宿﹚，單日170元﹙早午兩餐﹚，包括神師膳宿費及車馬費，歡迎堂區所有教友參加。如有興趣，請於11月21日前聯络Fiona Lam(9305-7905 / 2869-8076)報名及交費。名額有限，報名從速。參加者請於12月16日下午1:30於青衣港鐵站外巴士總站集合，乘279X巴士至上水火車站轉76K巴士或50A專綫小巴直達。
Talk on the Roman Missal
For catechesis on the new English translation of the Roman Missal, our Diocese has invited Rev. Anscar Chupungco, a renowned liturgical scholar, to give an open talk on Friday, 18th November, at 2:30pm at Caritas Hall, Caine Road, and at 7:00pm at the Auditorium, Catholic Diocese Centre, Caine Road. Same content for both sessions. In addition, there will be another talk featuring “The Liturgical Spirituality of the Vatican II Mass” on Saturday, 19th November at 2:30pm at Caritas Hall, Caine Road. All are welcome.
Cheung Chau Caritas Bazaar
The Cheung Chau Caritas Bazaar will be held next Sunday, 20th November 2011, at Pak Tai Temple Playground from 10am to 5pm. As in previous years, our parish will operate a game booth at the Bazaar to raise funds for Caritas. We invite volunteers to assist at the booth. Volunteers will take 8:45am ferry from DB to Mui Wo, and then 10:10am inter-island ferry from Mui Wo to Cheung Chau. Please contact Teresa Tsang at 9098 3343/2987 6503 or email tretsang@gmail.com.
Mui Wo Chapel Flea Market
Mui Wo Chapel’s flea market will be held at the Chapel on Saturday, 26th November, from 11am to 4pm, and on Sunday, 27th November, from 1-4pm. We invite volunteers to assist at the booth and appeal for donations of NEW household items and presents. You can also rent a booth for business use, at $50 per booth. Donaltions for St. Joseph Home for the Aged
The appeal by the Little Sisters of the Poor last weekend realized $41,923.30 in DB to support the St. Joseph Home for the Aged in Sheung Shui. Sisters Teresa and Cecilia and their organization are grateful for our generous support and will remember us in their prayers.
Caritas Raffle Tickets
Sale of Hong Kong Caritas fundraising raffle tickets in DB realized $9,440, a new record for us in such activities. Thanks to all for your generosity.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 13th November, at 10:15am in one of the DBIS classrooms.
Veneration of the relics of Blessed Zelie and Louis Martin
Our parish is honoured to receive the relics of Blessed Zelie and Louis Martin, the parents of St. Therese of Lisieux. Blessed Zelie and Louis set a good example of Christian family life, and through veneration of their relics, we are encouraged to lead a true Christian life. Their relics will be venerated at all Masses in DB this weekend.
Youth Choir Meeting
The Youth Choir will be meeting again for a practice on Sunday, 13th November, after the 10:15am mass with a lunch to discuss and plan for the next youth mass on 20th November.
