敬禮墨西哥瓜多露比聖母彌撒

在本年12月12日星期一下午4:00在堅道16號主教座堂將為敬禮墨西哥瓜多露比聖母舉行彌撒，由香港教區湯漢主教主祭，歡迎教友參加。12月12日是瓜多露比聖母的瞻禮日。於1531年當天無玷童貞瑪利亞將她的肖像留在聖璜迪哥的斗篷上，肖像至今依然栩栩如生。斗篷現存放於墨西哥的大教堂讓人參觀。歡迎參加者帶同一枝玫瑰花，象徵對聖母的奉獻。


為花園街求平安．街頭祈禱會

日期：2011年12月11日(星期日)；時間：晚上6:00-7:00；地點：旺角花園街(近水渠道和太子道的路旁)；內容：默哀、短頌、禱告、唱詩、燭光祝福；禱告：鄭大成牧師、梁遠耀牧師、卜莎崙牧師、廖雅倫神父。


「從花園街大火看小販及住屋政策」研討會

日期：2011年12月13日(星期二)；時間：晚上7:30-9:30；地點：中華基督教會望覺堂(九龍旺角弼街56號基督教大樓)。合辦團體：中華基督教會望覺堂、眾樂教會、基督教路小教會、香港基督徒學會、回歸基督精神同盟、香港天主教勞工事務委員會及香港天主教正義和平委員會。希望透過是次研討會，在火災以後邀請關注住屋權利、小販和市集的團體、該區議員及街坊，一同探討怎樣才是更公義及合理的房屋及小販政策。如有查詢，請聯絡香港天主教正義和平委員會：2560-3865。


聖雲先會

上主日籌得善款4,303元，多謝各位的慷慨捐助。每月例會將在今天上午10:15在國際學校1-20課室舉行。


聖誕劇及聖誕歌曲頌唱

一年一度愉景灣教區內教會合辦的聖誕劇及聖誕歌曲頌唱，將於今天下午5:00至8:00在廣場舉行，聖誕劇大約下午6:00開始。該活動將有管樂隊及其他不同的團體表演，包括偉倫小學、智新書院及愉景灣國際學校，歡迎所有教友參與。


明供聖體

因「聖母無玷聖心會」的會員於12月16日星期五另有周年退省，故當日於康頤閣小堂舉行的明供聖體活動將予取消，敬希留注。


聖言宣讀組

中文彌撒將會成立「聖言宣讀組」，現誠邀各位兄弟姊妹參加，既可善用天主賜給我們的“塔冷通”，亦可同時為堂區出一分力。如有興趣可與Domenica Lau聯絡，電話：9050 3183。


聖誕前九天特別英語彌撒敬禮

今年的九天特別彌撒敬禮將由12月15日星期四晚上9:00開始，在愉景灣國際學校禮堂舉行。請注意：由12月16日至23日，彌撒將改在愉景灣管理公司多用途活動室舉行〔即百佳超級市場後門近網球場旁〕，時間為晚上9:00。請齊來參與這充滿菲律賓傳統特色的夜間九日敬禮，準備心神迎接救主的來臨。如有查詢，請與 Amy Vinas〔電話：9163-9835〕或 Georgina Creally〔電話：2987-0130〕聯絡。


更改彌撒場地

因國際學校禮堂在聖誕節期進行整修，從12月18日至1月中，主日彌撒將移往位於百佳超級市場後門的愉景灣管理公司多用途活動室舉行。惟聖誕前夕之晚上9:00彌撒及聖誕日之平日彌撒則特別移回愉景灣國際學校正門入口處場地舉行，敬請留意。

Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe

Mass in honour of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be celebrated by The Most Reverend John Tong Hon, Bishop of Hong Kong, at 4pm on Monday, 12th December 2011, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 16 Caine Road, Hong Kong. The 12th of December is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was on this day in 1531 that the Immaculate Virgin Mary left her own image in the mantle of St. Juan Diego. The image is still fresh and vivid, and can be seen at the Basilica in Mexico City. You are welcome to bring a rose to the Mass as an offering to Our Lady.


Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Churchdoor collections in DB last weekend amounted to $4,303. Thank you very much for your generosity. Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 11th December, at 10:15am in DBIS classroom 1-20.


Nativity Play and Christmas Carols

The combined churches in Discovery Bay are presenting this year’s Nativity Play and Christmas Carols in the Plaza on Sunday, 11th December, from 5pm to 8pm, with the play starting around 6pm. There will be a brass band and different groups performing, including Wei Lun, DC and DBIS. We invite everyone to come and enjoy this joyful occasion.


Simbang Gabi (Nine Day Novena Masses in English)

This year the first Simbang Gabi Mass will start this Thursday, 15th December, at 9pm in the DBIS Hall. Please note that on the following days, 16th to 23rd December, they will be held in the Management Multi-Purpose Hall (opposite the back of Fusion near the tennis courts). All Masses start at 9pm. Cancellation of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on 16th December

Please note that the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Trinity Chapel on Friday, 16th December 2011, will be cancelled, as members of the Society of Immaculate Heart of Mary, who take charge of the adoration, will have their annual retreat on that day.


Move from DBIS to Management Multi-Purpose Hall over Christmas

An important notice to all parishioners, that as from next Sunday, 18th December, all Sunday Masses will be held at the Management Multi-Purpose Hall (opposite the back of Fusion). This is due to DBIS renovating the hall over Christmas. Please inform all those who do not know about this arrangement.


Christmas Schedule

Saturday, 24th Dec. – There is no 6pm anticipated Mass at the Management Multi-Purpose Hall.

Saturday, 24th Dec. – Bilingual Christmas Eve Mass starting at 9pm, held this year at the entrance of DBIS. You are invited to bring potluck to share with your fellow parishioners after Mass.

Sunday, 25th Dec. – Christmas Day Masses at 8am (English), 9am (Chinese), and 10:15am (English) at the entrance to DBIS.
