第二次奉獻：為教友總會募捐

教區定於今天各台公開彌撒舉行第二次募捐，以資助香港天主教教友總會各項福傳活動及培育計劃，請慷慨支持。


真福德蘭修女聖髑蒞臨香港

教區將於2月5日(本主日)晚上7:30於荃灣葛達二聖堂舉行特別感恩聖祭，由香港教區主教湯漢樞機主禮。聖堂地點：荃灣德華街37-41號（仁濟醫院側），歡迎教友參加。


范進峰神父新任命

本年三月，范神父將赴羅馬休假學習。完成後他將回港接受新任命，在九龍彩虹村及彩雲村聖家堂區擔任助理司鐸職務。我們感謝范神父多年來對本堂區的貢獻及他給我們的指導和支持。求主祝福范神父旅途愉快，在新任命中萬事如意。


聖雲先會

今天主日彌撒後在禮堂門外籌集善款，請慷慨解囊。每月例會將在2月12日星期日上午10:15在國際學校1-20號課室舉行。


青少年歌詠團

青少年歌詠團將於2月12日10:15彌撒後排練，成員請介時出席練習。


棕熊音樂會

有現場表演音樂會將在2月18日星期六晚上7:30開始，在愉景灣國際學校禮堂舉行，入場券成人180元、學生90元，在彌撒後有售或聯絡Clara Chan電話：9707-7994。所有收益將捐助亞洲動物基金，以取締及禁止抽取棕熊胆汁的商業活動。


四旬期避靜

定期退省對增進靈修至為重要。「聖母無玷聖心會」將於3月16-17日﹙星期五、六﹚籌辦為期兩日一夜之避静，時間為16日下午4:00至17日下午4:00，地點為赤柱舂坎角道43號『天主教靜修院』，神師為梁達材神父，費用每位280元﹙三餐一宿﹚，單日160元﹙翌日9:00-4:00包午餐﹚。歡迎堂區所有教友參加，如有興趣，請於2月13日前聯络Irene (9023-2344) 報名及交費。名額有限，報名從速。

Second Collection: Fund-Raising for Council of the Laity

In support of the apostolates and formation programs of the Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity, there will be a second collection at Masses this weekend. Your generosity will be highly appreciated.


New Appointment for Father Jay Francis Flandez, SVD

Fr. Jay Francis Flandez, SVD, will leave our Parish for a study leave in Rome in March, after which he will take up a new appointment as Assistant Parish Priest in Holy Family Parish, Choi Hung Estate and Choi Wan Estate, Kowloon. We thank him for his guidance and support through the years and for his invaluable contribution to our Parish. We wish him a hear-warming trip to Rome and all the best in his new appointment.


Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will have churchdoor collections on 4th and 5th February. Our monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 12th February at 10:15am in DBIS classroom 1-20.


Sunday School

Sunday School will resume on 5th February 2012.


Youth Choir Practice

There will be Youth Choir practice on Sunday 12th February after the 10:15 Mass.


First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation

Classes preparing children for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation are due to start shortly. They are open to children in P3 and P6, respectively. Parents MUST provide a PHOTOCOPY of their child’s Baptismal Certificate. Classes for First Reconciliation start Tuesday, 14th February, and classes for Confirmation start 24th March. Please collect an application form after Mass and please return asap to Teresa Weir, 9186 0905.

Moon Bear Concert

A live music concert will be held at 7:30pm on Saturday, 18th February, in the DBIS Globe Theatre, (the DBIS School Hall), with all proceeds to go to the Animals Asia Foundation to help put an end to bear bile farming. Regular tickets are $180, Students $90, available after Mass and from Clara Chan 9707-7994.
