范進峰神父調任 / 送別
由於范神父將於三月中調離本區往他區服務,本堂區教友對范神父多年來的辛勞和悉心教導,致深切謝意,並祝願范神父來日工作順利,身體健康,主寵日隆。我們將於3月4日10:15彌撒後,在禮堂外簡設辭別茶會,屆時將備簡單午餐小食,亦歡迎自願者携贈食物,並希望大家熱烈參加。另外,禮堂入口處將擺設紀念冊,以供大家簽名或寫下紀念性祝福短句,送給范神父留念。
愉景灣頌主祈禱會
將於今天下午1:30至4:00在愉景灣社區會堂(愉景北商場惠康超級市場對面)舉行,主辦者為BLD聖神更新會,歡迎大家參加,並學習其頌禱及使徒精神。
聖雲先會
上次門捐籌得善款4,402.20元,並收到特別捐款 1,300元,上月總支出共港幣11,527.20元:包括支付一位大澳長者之平安鐘月費及一個坪洲家庭的生活費(部份由匿名人士特別捐助)、贊助坪洲2012農曆新年長者聯歡會、派發給長者新年利是及購買探訪兩個梅窩安老院及十二位坪洲長者家庭的禮物,差額由聖雲先中央分會資助。聖雲先會在此感謝各位的慷慨捐助。
聖灰禮儀
聖灰禮儀將於本星期三2月22日晚上8:30於愉景灣管理公司多用途活動室舉行雙語感恩祭。教友亦可於2月24日(星期五)參加在小堂舉行的拜苦路禮儀時補領聖灰。請教友注意:於當天凡年滿十四歲的信友須守小齋。此外,年滿十八歲而未達六十歲的信友亦須守大齋。
拜苦路禮儀及特增週日彌撒
於四旬期間每週五晚上7:30起在1D康頤閣聖三小堂將有神父為教友辦修和聖事,隨後晚上8:00正舉行雙語彌撒及拜苦路禮儀,歡迎各教友參與。

3月1日星期四晚上8:00在1D康頤閣小堂舉行,歡迎所有人士列席。
New Appointment for Father Jay Francis Flandez, SVD
Fr. Jay Francis Flandez, SVD, will leave our Parish in March for a study leave in Rome, after which he will take up a new appointment as Assistant Parish Priest in Holy Family Parish, Choi Hung Estate and Choi Wan Estate, Kowloon. We thank him for his guidance and support through the years and for his invaluable contribution to our Parish. We wish him a heart-warming trip to Rome and all the best in his new appointment. After the 10:15 Mass on Sunday, 4th March, there will be a farewell lunch gathering at DBIS. All are welcome to attend. There also will be a decorated notebook available next weekend for parishioners to sign and write messages to Father Jay.
Praise & Worship in Discovery Bay
There will be Praise & Worship and teaching by the BLD Group (Bukas Loob sa Divos) to be held this Sunday, 19th February, 1:30 – 4:00 pm, in the DB Community Hall opposite Wellcome Supermarket in the North Plaza. Come and learn about prayer and discipleship.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Out of the 5th February weekend church door collections of $4,402.20 (plus anonymous donations of $1,300), a total of $11,527.20 was spent in helping with safety bell monthly subscriptions for an elderly person in Tai O and a Peng Chau family’s relief money (met partially by anonymous donations), sponsoring the 2012 Peng Chau Chinese New Year party for the elderly, distributing red packets to and buying gifts for visits to two homes for the aged in Mui Wo, and for home visits to 12 elderly persons in Peng Chau. The shortfall will be met by the Central Council of the Society. Thank you very much for your generosity.
First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation
Classes preparing children for these Sacraments will be starting soon. They are open to children in P3 and P6. Parents MUST provide a photocopy of their child’s Baptismal Certificate. Classes start next Tuesday, 21st February for First Reconciliation, and on Saturday, 24th March for Confirmation. Please collect an application form after Mass from Amy Vinas, and please return it TODAY to Amy or ASAP to Teresa Weir, 9186 0905. (NB: Following parental requests, all the First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion classes will be on Tuesdays, except for just one lesson, which will be on a Thursday.)
Ash Wednesday Liturgy
A bilingual Ash Wednesday Mass will be held this Wednesday, 22nd February, at DB Management Hall at 8:30pm. Parishioners can receive the ashes as well on 24th February during the Stations of the Cross at the Chapel. As a reminder, on this day all faithful who have completed their 14th year are to abstain from meat. Those who have completed their 18th year but have not yet begun their 60th year are also obliged to fast. The liturgy group would like to collect old palm branches from last year to make ashes. If you still have old palm branches at home, please return them next week.
Additional Mass and Stations of the Cross
Every Friday evening during Lent there will be a bilingual Mass at 8pm at Trinity Chapel, 1D Glamour Court, followed by the Stations of the Cross. The priest will be available to hear confessions at 7:30pm.
Trinity Chapel Committee Meeting
The next Trinity Chapel Committee Meeting will be held at 8pm on Thursday, 1st March, at 1D Glamour Court.
